In 2004, Alps Industries Limited, a listed company based in National Capital Region – Delhi, was planning its expansion in cotton spinning and had zeroed down on Jammu as its location preference. Amtrak made a comprehensive comparison to suggest location of new spinning mill at Integrated Industrial Estate – Haridwar. The client studied the compelling evidence and data compiled by us and changed its decision in favour of Haridwar.
Later in 2007, Alps proposed to expand into automotive fabrics range. Amtrak was the Lead Advisor for the Company entering into a technical collaboration with a leading Japanese automotive fabric maker and the agreement was successfully concluded in January 2008.
In 2008-09, Amtrak was retained as Lead Advisor and Negotiator for joint venture with a European company for specialized fabrics manufacture.
